Hello,

i have both iTunes and Nero. But i dont like the GUI's that these programms have. Can i keep the dll's and use another gui to encode my "wav"s?

You can use Nero Frontend which only needs aacenc32.dll and NeroIPP.dll to work. More on Rarewares AAC Page. There are some other frontends there too.

You can use itunesencode via EAC or another ripper but itunes needs to be installed to work. See this thread for more.
rpop
You can also use foobar2000 with the foo_nero plugin to encode, unless you try to encode in mp3pro or vqf.

I was planning on telling him about NEncode but given the fact that it's CLI based and this guy explicitly asked for a GUI solution, I decided to not to. This leaves Rpop solution as the most convenient one instead.

Edit: Oops, long time since I last visited the AAC page at Rarewares. I didn't know about any other Nero frontend than NEncode but there are like four now, although the only GUI based is EziiiEncode as far as I can tell.

i use DBPoweramp + Nero AAC plugin

it's an easy right click solution to encode/decode a bunch of formats.

foobar2000 certainly is not command line. smile.gif

Anyone know of a script that will launch NERO's Encoder GUI without me having to launch the main program first? The encoder stays after the main program is closed, so it seems possible.
rjamorim
nero.exe /Dialog:EncodeFiles
