I have some mp3 encoded in 48khz and my mp3 cd player refuse to play them (no surprise here i know). Is there a method to resample them to 44.1 khz or did i have to transcode them in order to plain in my cd player ?

No, you have to transcode.
I'd say, re-rip your songs from your CD again...what did you want to do with 48 khz mp3's anyway? I mean, you know that a CD has 44.1 khz...
