Slim Server doesn't recognize my install of iTunes-LAME, so I have to install another version evidently.

Sorry for the lo-tech question, but how do I install a version (that will likely be recognized by something like Slim Server).

Saw this thread, but need more help. Have X11, so assume I have Developer Tools installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Ignore the title misspelling. No slight on Slim Devices at all.

I never tried the slim sever program. But I have dabbled witht the apple developer tools (I can barley read c++ though.. :-() and I am 100% sure it is a seperate instalation. I think the install package was on ibook G4 under documents when i first got the computer. Its availabe for download on apple's home page.
