They *still* haven't fixed the bug with the Left Master Volume Control not working in Hi-res mode.

Heh, was thinking the same! Drivers at regular intervals, but no sign of change (apart from Sensaura -> the other software 3D sound).

Eventhough using older drivers may be OK, I have a method of using the Wolfson DAC (rear output of Chaintech AV-710) without the Hi Res mode and still allowing 24/96 playback (or straight 16/44.1 if preferred) and also working master volume with all drivers. Read the details here.

Actually, that's the way I've been using mine since I bought it. Also that way, I can use at the same time one (good) output for headphone listening and another (not so good) output for (cheap) speakers listening.

And to be honest, I'm rather sceptical about the need to use 24/96 plaback with foobar2000 (as mentioned in some "setup guide"). Does that really improve the sound or is just another audiophile non sense setup (the bigger, the better?)?
