i'm looking for a truetype font that scales well to the smallest sizes, to print a very long report ... any ideas/links please?

Perhaps you could look at
http://proggyfonts.com/Try one of those.. they are designed to be viewed at 12 pt but they are quite small and readable.

There are some pretty nice fonts out there, too bad that a lot of them aren't free. One of my personal favorites is verdana.. if anyone knows any other simple sans serif (I think thats right.. sans serif..) fonts let me know please.
I've used Arial Narrow at size 2 in the past for squeezing large amounts of information in very tiny spaces. However, it's not easy to read unless you have good eyes and a laser printer of at least 600 dpi.
