Can you post the strings used in the album_list panel? How was the 'now playing' section setup?

I finally modified my foobar after having it for a year and it took almost all day.

The one question i have left is how to get Tabs over the Panels on the left where i added the red circle...any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you get your spectrum analyzer to be "dotted" or blocked shaped whateveer you want to call it as well as change color?

Right click the vizulation, select "bars mode"

I see where u can change the colors there but I dont see how u can change the shape or a "bar modes"?

EDIT: I fixed it!!! The problem was I had UI colums 0.1.2 Rc1 u need FINAL didnt know there was 1 out

I'm really impressed with these configs.

Changed again... ditched the complex playlist tree setup for plain ol' playlists cause I end up using the search most of the time anyway...

Here's mine, inspired from Brumal's mostly but also a few others.

How does the album art pannel to be over the playlist?

Is it necessary any plugin else?

No other plugin is needed... (except of course the columns_ui interface, which the panels are designed for.)

Way to kill the openness that EVERYONE ELSE has shared when someone else asked for their config. It's not like you know something someone else doesn't.

oteek has asked in a polite manner and Frank has answered in the same manner. If he does not want to share his configuration, you should respect that. There is no need to start accusing him. Please keep this civil.

And, he's prolly not done working on it, hence the "not right now" part.

With regard to this post, I have not only willingly shared my previous configuration with everyone, but in addition, I have also explained the underlying functions. Apparently, aside from the developer musicmusic who provides a documentation at his wiki, I was the first person who really illustrated $set_style to a larger audience both here in the forum and even in a German-language article. I don't have any secret knowledge, and, instead of what you are suggesting, I contribute what I know to the community.

To tell the truth, I don't think my current configuration is so overcomplicated that it's impossible to reverse engineer most of it with some basic knowledge. When it comes to the album information area or other parts, I offer to explain whatever people want to know. Please understand that I'm torn between two opposing approaches here. I rather want to encourage people to learn how to make their own Columns UI settings and how to translate a given screenshot into code, instead of copying the settings of others and struggling in despair when it comes to make modifications.

As for my current settings, it's not like I refused to share them, I just mentioned that it's not going to happen at the current point of time. I just ask for some patience. Like ChaosBladE said, it's not finished yet. I have to clean up the code, remove some of my custom tags for the public fcs file and so on.

Bored earlier, I did a quick re-make of Frank's fcs.....



I took my then-current fcs (by me) and modified, so the now-playing and selected background colors are the same. Idea is based off Frank's though.

Checking out the beta... I miss album art. but autoplaylists are freakin' sweet

slight change:

I've got a question concerning the small player window, Frank, does it get the shown style, wenn you reduce the window size? Or are that two different configurations? What i mean is, if there is a option to edit the windows behaviour when reducing its size.

It's a completely different configuration.
