I see playlists always at the lower righthand side of the screen. I don't know how, but would the tabbed panel plugin allow me to put the (vertical) volume slider at the right hand side of the playlist?

1) I now have a panel with a couple of tabs sorted by Artist and Genre. I'd like to list all songs with the same genre directly at level 2 of the tree (they are divided by artist now). Similarly, I'd like to list all songs of a certain artist regardless of the album. Is it possible?

2) foo_uie_trackinfo doesn't seem to like multilines tags: what am I missing? Also, provided there's a way to fix the multilines issue, how can I change the track info panel position? For example display it below the playlist, or at the right side?

[Edit]Fixed the multilines problem: now I need to figure out how to disable line wrapping.

Can someone tell me how to change the color of the selected song within the main playlist? I have a black background and normally the song titles are white, but when the cursor is on them they get highlighted with a dark color. I don't know how to change the highlighting color.

My guess is that it is in hex somewhere in the globals....also how do you put a color in hex format?

You'll need to download this:

Unpack it and place it in your

C:\Program Files\foobar2000\components

folder.

Then download this one:

The file is called "Eriks.fcs"

Then go to preferences|columns UI| choose the "other" tab| there is a section called

importing/exporting

Select the "importing" option| click on the "importing" button" navigate to where you saved your "Eriks.fcs" file and load it.

Thats it!

Btw the big version of your screenshot does not display.

I have that problem all the time. When I go to edit a post, it replaces the "...&image..." in the imageshack url with some bizarre character. I have to manually change it back every time I do that. I think it's a Mozilla issue, along with problems handling that blocky color-code character too.

I have one question about g-force... I have successfully de-bordered it, but then am stuck as i can't move it where i want it on the screen. If i place it where i want it, then clos eit and edit the prefs and then re-open it, it opens in the middle of my screen. how do you guys move it borderless above a panel?

I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have supplied us with configs and for all the time it took to set them up.


edit: how do i get two toolbars above the playlist? it seems some of you have the menu toolbar between album panel and playlist on the top.....

with g-froce you can only move it when you have NoBo or whatevrer its called set to 0

what i have it a keyboard shotcut bound to the g-force plugin
so i can start and stop it easiert and quicker

then i open g-force and make sure the size is right
then i close the g-force then reopen it to check its in the right position.
then take it off again

then go to preference g-force file and set nobo to 1 and borders should be removed.

i just really wish you could have your g-froce in a panel then i would be happy...

bah.... still just comes back into the center of my screen with no way to move it around...... thanks though.
EDIT: after shutting down foobar and going through the process again it worked.


how did you get your seek bar and tools menu beween your upper panels and your playlist?

while the toolbar is unlocked, any component can be drag-and-dropped (hover your mouse at the left end until the resize arrows appear, then click-hold-drag...) above or below to create another toolbar

Yep, I've seen this problem here and there on boards.. one possible workaround is to use their "direct" image links instead of the php link, with the disadvantage(?) that people "just" see the pic itself and not imageshack's page around it.

You can modify the code they supply for embedding thumbnails accordingly as well, here's an example:

I'm not sure whether it's really a browser-related issue btw - links inside of code tags (like in this post here) are unaffected by the issue.

It's funny that the supposedly same imageshack link works in post 227 whereas it doesn't work in post 228

Hi, I got a question for all the people who achieved removing the little tabs of album_art and trackinfo. How did you did do that?
While experimenting I finally made it to get this kind of horizontal layout. But as there is no minimum height for album-list and trackinfo available (at least at my preferences) i've to use panel-stack. but i don't know how to remove the little info-tabs.
