Yeah sure thing. The last couple weeks I put together a UI for myself, basically because I wanted a player that 1) gave me song info at the top like I've done, 2) gave me a media lib that updated itself automatically (no pic of that at the moment), and 3) maintained the orginal foobar-style tabbed playlists (I dig that).

So I made something up. It's rough around the edges (no graphics for the buttons yet, layout needs work), but it works and I'm constantly improving it. Not sure if I'll ever release it... perhaps if I can polish it enough. At the moment even format strings are nasty (no color, no font choice, no caching).

Where can we get this config?

First stab at ui_columns. Yes, yes, I'm an austere person - didn't even use the columns for column purposes, I just like all the extra useful features.

Question: any way to get rid of the sunken look of the spectrum analyzer? I could do without it

Oh and to get rid of the sunken look, go to columns ui prefs, Other tab, and change the Visulisation frame setting.
