Latest versions are:

Aac.dll : 2.5.9.97

aacenc32.dll: 2.9.9.999

Can anyone enlighten me on how to obtain the lastest AAC dlls? Looks like downloading the latest Nero Media Player is not enough.

I believe you get them with the latest Nero 6 Reloaded, AFAIK. Package 1

Thanks a lot for the info! Unfortunately I can only afford the Nero Media Player :-( Besides to me Nero 6 Reloaded is a bit bloated

heh, you can install the demo or put the dll files in the same directory as eziiiencode or nero fend and uninstall nero burning rom. No one has to buy it to use the encoder. I suspect that ahead made it that way to get their encoder in use and recommended by word of mouth.

All I had to get was the first 7 megabytes to get to the dll's. Open the exe file with winrar, extract the files with the 'keep broken files option'. It will warn you on a files crc error. You might also need neroipp.dll and wav.dll if you haven't gotten nero before.
