I have a number of mp3 albums that were ripped using various in EAC and they the show up in foobar with Various on the left with the album info, and on the right were there should only be the track and track # they show up with the band name in front of every track.

I was wondering is there any way to use masstagger to correct these, or if anyone has any suggestion on another ap. that would do this.

Also is there any kind of instructions on using masstagger, if not some would be creatly apreciated by us newbies.

Just from what you describe, it doesn't sound like your problem is so much with the tagging of the files, but just the formatting string you use (check "Preferences...Display...Title Formatting...Playlist"). Perhaps if you post a screenshot of the behavior, it would be easier to say exactly what the problem is.

And this is a guide to the masstagger that picmixer wrote a while back (an "unofficial guide") if you still think that that is your best option.
