Hi, everyone.
i'm a newbie in programming world...
as you may also notice that i've posted dozens of topics already in this off-topic, so i just get to the point, but i hope what i'm going to write in this topic isn't going to be considered as trolling.......

i've been studying programming these days, but always having problems compiling my programs...
well, no so many problems on windows actually....i use dev-c++ for those little c++ programs i wrote, but i haven't got any java compiler.....
and i really don't know what ide or compiler on mac os x.......
well....i just feel xcode seems kind of hard to use.....

would you share your feelings on you current ides or compilers??

any recommendations on java ide on windows; c++ ide and java ide on mac??

i hope i can write programs using my ibook....

thanks....

To compile (from source- to bytecode) Java programs (and do all general Java development stuff), download the Java SDK from Sun:
http://java.sun.com/

Eclipse is slowly becoming the IDE of choice in the Java world:

After reading that statement (and your other threads) I seriously think you should either start somewhere else or rethink your choice to learn programming.
