Tools n' guides to automate/enhance the process of ripping DVDs with DVD Shrink
Home of MultiShrink: a small tool to enable DVD Shrink batch processing

doesn't strike as being too long or abusive or whatever. I've been doing fine on other boards that are using Invision as well. Any suggestions?

So the markup is taken into account? I've removed the sentence about tools and guides which not totals at 96 characters and still I'm getting the message. Geting rid of the markup would also leave me without a direct link to my page which was more or less the idea behind using it as a signature.

Which message do you get exactly? What does it say if you hit the "check length"?

edit: markup is disabled on signatures.

Just attach that image at the bottom of all of your posts.

The maximum allowed length is 150 characters. You have used 149 characters.

I've removed all markup, even a regular http:// I tried instead of an using an url-tag and still my message is deemed too long even though I'm under the max character limit. What gives?

What annoys me is the maximum number for location. 15 characters, mostly not enough for country and city. Some members have longer locations, because they haven't changed it since the limit was lowered (I guess).

I think it was rather a joke...

Thanks. Just an idea, how about excluding markup from max lenght calculations?
