Neksus
Hello all,
I am wraping up development of Azrael,
and could really need some help getting the last bugs fixed!

So far this has been done since 5.3 (latest release)
1) Fixed singletrack with tracknumber one bug (showed design line)
2) Changed size of length column to fix xx:xx times not showing the first x in elapsed
3) Exchanged the * in the rating column with circles
4) Changed size of rating columns to go with the circles
5) Added new option, it is now possible to choose your own rating char
6) Added 'va' tag as Various Artist detector
7) Fixed 3 digit tracknumbers starting with 00
8) Status bar: the trailing ']' is not drawn in all situations. bug fixed (thanks Christoph)

Please report bugs to me here or by using my Contact page on neksus.dk

Best regards,
Kian Andersen (neksus)

EDIT
Added 3 & 4
Added 5

I've really enjoyed the Azrael config! biggrin.gif

The only thing that I would like to see is making the Ratings more appealing. Right now with 5.3, it uses asteriks(*) for the ratings indicators.

Thanks for the Azrael, does this mean you will stop updating it? blink.gif

About rating:
Look at changes in my first post,
is that what you want?

About stopping:
Yes, unless there are any big bugs I am stopping Azrael
Insolent
For the rating, couldn't you just add a global variable where the user selects which character they want to use for the ratings?

Yes but like all other good things it must come to an end!
I use iTunes for my computer music needs now,
and don't see my self using foobar2000 anymore!

When I made Azrael I had a Desktop which I used as my music source through my Sony Receiver, but now I only got a notebook and uses CD's again!

Hi Neksus,
About the Various Artists detector, I use %va% instead of %various% so unless it's just me you could consider one $or(%various%,%va%) in globals biggrin.gif

Can you take a look at this fault that appears if there are more than two digits entered as the tracknumber?

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/nvi...Azraelfault.jpg

It's easy enough to work around but it would be nice if it was fixed.

The ones with the problem were 001 to 009. 010 onwards there doesn't seem to be a problem.

I am not going to add new colour schemes, sorry!
But you could make them yourself, I have made Azrael so that is possible!

The statusbar is not getting changed either,
but again you could easily copy from other configs what you want!

Only small features requests and bugs will be done!

I've found another problem.

When you have text in brackets, which happens to be inside another set of brackets it will change colour only until the first close bracket instead of the second.

e.g. Plez - Can't Stop ((Acid) Rain Forest Mix) - Only the ((Acid) changed colour, instead of ((Acid) Rain Forest Mix) as I expected.

That is because ) makes normal colours to come back in my code (because that fits my albums)

Is it possible to modify your script so the colours continue even though there are no tracks like this?

Nope that is not possible at the moment in columns_ui!
acedriver
Would you release a detail description bout the colors variable?

What variable control what color? That would help alot in making color scheme.
Neksus
Azrael Last Edition has been released!

@empeethree
I will think about it!
But I think it is fairly simple
if you look at a colours scheme in the documentation
where they all are with code and everything.
The colour scheme codes look more simple in the documentation then in the fcs file
trance
Getting it now! smile.gif

Finally no more asterisk for the ratings! tongue.gif
How do I get a star or check symbol? blink.gif

Thanks a lot for your fork, but in the Last Edition I've observed an issue. Please look at the attached picture:

user posted image

The bottom "border" of the playlist is not displayed for all columns, except the "Artist" column.
