I searched, but didn't saw any mention except on rarewares.org portal. Kuniklo has compiled a WavPack 4 encoder/decoder working on MacOS X system.
http://www.rarewares.org/lossless.htmlHope it will help to raise the popularity of this modern lossless format

Hehe, thanks for mentioning it here. I intended to do so earlier, but got caught on some urgent work.
Slightly OT but is MPC decodable under osx?

On the same website:
http://rarewares.org/mpc.html>> MPC bundle for MacOS X 2003-11-25
>> Contains mppenc (encoder) and mppdec (decoder). by Dibrom.
But it's only "decodable". I don't know if any player supports mpc format.

My player-in-development, Xist, supports both MPC and WV. It's pretty bare bones but it works. You can get it from here:

XMMS *technically* can play MPC on OS X (under X11), but getting it to work properly is a real bitch. I never succeeded, anyway....in the end, it was less work just to transocde my handful of MPC's to FLAC and be done with it.
Thanks again, kuniklo, for your work! Improved support for wavpack and MPC on OS X are most welcome developments.
