Full Version: Foo_shuffle?
I've heard people allude to the fact that foo_shuffle is broken (Peter most recently, and others in the past), and I'm wondering what the issue with this plugin is. More than anything I'm just kinda curious what issues it has.
Mainly, random crashes.

A fully functional shuffle component for foobar2000 would have been something immensely useful to me....

I've never had a crash with foobar2000, but I've always wondered, if I do how would I generate a crash log, like people post for troubleshooting purposes?
A crash log is automatically generated by the player's internal exception handler.

Anyone had the problem with foo shuffle in Shuffle ALbum 2 mode? it wont play all of some albums. ive checked my tags and even retagged everything to see what the deal is, but its just not workin and will play to like track 6 and then move on to another album. strange.
which brings me to another question...in foobar is there a way to define which tags the masstagger saves to or foobar reads? i have no use for ape tags really but i have been having problems with them and other mp3 software i use.
if the new foobar does indeed have shuffle, i hope its as extensive as the features in foo_shuffle (which hasnt crashed for me in months). the two album shuffle modes and the user-definable shuffle is brilliant.
