Good day everyone,

I was wondering if I could get opinions on the best software for checking MP3 errors. I need to check ... about 50,000 MP3s for inconsistencies, skips etc. I have downloaded a few peices of software like ashampoo MP3 check to try out and I'm not impressed so far.

To be honest, I would like a command line version of some MP3 check - type software to integrate into a business model.

Does anyone know where I could start? Any Engineers on this forum looking to integrate something they have developed??

I'm all ears...

Wyatt

Thanks a bunch for these links, I'll test a few of these out.

Can anyone tell me the difference between a Glich (incorrect sound) in a file and a skip. I would assume that the skip is missing information. But an actual new sound(glich) or irregularity was corrupt information. Anyone have a more technical answer than that?

These forums have been a wealth of information and I'm glad to have found them.

cheers
Wyatt
