I notice that in the guide to using Mp3Gain at http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index....=ST&f=15&t=3274
It recommends checking the "enable maximizing features" option in MP3Gain's advance options. Once the box is checked Mp3Gain throws up a warning box basically saying that this is not a good idea ohmy.gif

Is the recommendation in the guide still valid? If so, any explanation of the option would be great.

FYI Am using v1.2.5 of Mp3Gain.

That thread explains all. I think it would be helpful if one of the moderators made that thread a sticky because it's a subject that always comes back up, the old MP3Gain guide has 40916 views which is more than recommended LAME compiles & recommended LAME settings threads.
