Hi,
Its a while since I used Foobar and, being an old fart, I've forgotten how to run a conversion from wv to mp3.
I get the errors shown below.

Can any of you chaps advise the old fart mentioned above?

Thanks,
auldyin

You need to put lame.exe into your foobar directory.

Grab it here:

what your "Parameters" of "Commandline Encoder Settings" is like?

example :

--alt-preset extreme - %d
auldyin
Hi,
Commandline says: LAME --alt-preset medium
which when I hit edit shows --alt-preset medium - %d

The error is:
INFO (foo_clienc) : CLI encoder: C:\Program Files\foobar2000\lame-3.90.3\lame.exe
INFO (foo_clienc) : Destination file: file://C:\001 01 - Don't Let it Break You Down.mp3
INFO (foo_clienc) : Source file: file://C:\01 - Don't Let it Break You Down.wv
INFO (foo_clienc) : 44100Hz 24bps 2ch
ERROR (foo_clienc) : Encoding failed
ERROR (foo_diskwriter) : Conversion failed.

Thanks,

"--alt-preset medium" can't be used in Lame 3.90.3, though modified version can.

http://rarewares.org/mp3.html

or, try LAME 3.93.1 or higher (I use 3.93.1)
