I rip my CDs to Monkey's Audio, and then use FB2K to transcode to whatever lossy format I need. On a few rare occasions, it turns out that isolated APE files have invalid checksums, and the FB2K console pops up with "foo_ape: invalid checksum". Obviously I need to identify these files so they can be re-ripped.

The problem here is that the filename isn't given in the error message. I tend to queue up hundreds of tracks to be transcoded and leave it running overnight, so tracking down the offending files is a laborious business. Is there a setting anywhere that will cause the filename to be output alongside the "invalid checksum" error message? I've searched around but can't find it anywhere.

I see that my post has been read over 50 times, but nobody has suggested a solution. Is it therefore correct to conclude that there is no way to get the filename output alongside the "invalid checksum" message?

I think people have been asking something similar for some time. Getting the MP3 filename printed when an MPEG sync error occurs..

I assume this is on the todo/features list for 0.9.
