I just wanted to know how everyone deals with hidden tracks on cd's. I am refering to the tracks that appear after the last song of an album, after a couple minutes of silence.

I usually use a wave editor and split the two tracks, effectively removing the silence gap. But then, say the total # of tracks is 10, but with the hidden track it bcomes 11. Do you # the hidden track or not. I do and I even tag the files with TOTALTRACKS as 11.

Just wanted peoples' opinion.

I usually just leave the track as is and add a ' + Hidden Track's Title' (if it has one) to the last track's title, i.e. Travis - Slide Show + The Blue Flashing Light. Note that this is mostly due to laziness and not wanting to manually cut tracks.
