Hi! I've recently bought a Nokia 7610 and was wondering what MP3 Setting would be the best for this handset to playback.

I'm using Mono, 40Kbps at 16KHz Sampling Rate. Can anybody suggest me a better configuration?

You should be fine with the settings you're currently using. You probably wouldn't notice much of a difference if you increased bit/sampling rate because the speaker in the 7610 sucks (in my humble opinion!).

Thanks for your reply! So you don't recommend me to increase the sampling rate? I suppose 7610 can support up to 44KHz but for sure it would be a different story for the speaker.
