I occassionally listen to internet radio using foobar, usually something from Digitally Imported or SomaFM (mmm... Groove Salad). In the interest of not having to open my browser every time I want to listen in, I save the playlists on my hard drive. Unfortunately, I find that sometimes they don't work in the future. I don't know much about the Shoutcast protocol so I was wondering if someone could explain what's happening here. Do the stations change adresses periodically or something? Or am I just tuning in when there are already a max amount of listeners? Or what?
