This is probably a stupid question but i have been trying to figure this out for the past 3-4 hours..

I have a ton of files in the playlist where the mp3 are sourced from "My Music" folder originally..However, i just moved the files from "My Music" to an External drive that i just got and the mp3 on the playlist are not playing anymore.

Instead of enqueque the songs back from the new external drive that i got, is there a way where we can just click on the mp3 on the playlist and make it find its source again or maybe i can tell it where to find it??

No. You'll need to remove the dead entries (Playlist > Remove dead entries) and then load the songs from the external drive.

The next time you move songs, use Masstagger > Move, Rename, or Copy Files. That way the database will stay in synch with the new locations.

Hmm, its going to be a pain for me to reload all the songs that i had on there dry.gif crying.gif I did try it though with what you said - using Masstagger.

My foobar playlist only consist of Artist next column is the Title and then the next column is the track time. SOmetimes i my Artist slot is empty because the mp3 i donwload does not have that information. So everytime i move something like that it would show a lot of gibberish in my external drive.

Its confusing, and i dont feel like to showing you what i am talking about. I have to take screen shots of stuff blink.gif Thank you though for that great tip.

Actually, you know what? Quick question... I tried moving files, but the output of the files that is getting transfered to my new external drive shows unknown album in FILENAME section in Windows Explorer when it is supposed to be under the Album column ?? Anyway to fix this.
