Hi, i'm looking for a decent vocoder that works real-time.

I'm planning to convert that person's voice into robotic voice in real time, but I want the effect to be accurate, that it could very well resemble those Eiffel 65 or Daft Punk's vocal.

Anyone have any suggestions?? Please do enlighten me. Thanks

anyone??

I used the vocoder included in cubase sx and also reactor sessions. Both did not get me to freak out, but were ok.

Hmm.. i've been tuning for hours and i'm still not anywhere close to that really elastic sound they have in Eiffel or Daft Punk...

Any pro has any suggestions?

Tried Prosoniq Orange Vocoder?

I think it's one of the most famous vocoders.

Also, I suspect these bands often use studio hardware vocoders, so you'll hardly find similar effects in software vocoders.

Try here

Edit: should've said that some (if not all of them - haven't had time to check) of these are plugins for VST enabled audio software like Audacity
