If anyone, for any reason, wishes to rename his file folders so as to indicate the average bitrate of each folder, and prefers to do this manually rather than risk using an automated method, Mr Questionman (available here or here) handles the job easily from within the program, whereas EncSpot does not.
Using MrQ, simply left-click (i.e. select) a folder to reveal its average bitrate, then left-click the folder again to edit its name. EDIT: The average bitrate is displayed at the left of the status bar, near the bottom of the screen.
I realize that the need for this usage of the program is undoubtedly far from universal, but hopefully someone else other than me will find it of interest.
