Hello, I was woundering if there was any known issues with the latest buld of Foobar and the latest foo_remote/tbar_foo, I used to have it and it worked fine, but now after a format, when I have installed it and I try to add the "work field" in the taskbar it doesent show..
help please sad.gif

My specs are :
OS: Windows XP pro SP2
Foobar: v.0.8.3

That's strange, i just recently had EXACTLY the same problem after a format and a clean reinstall, though everything worked fine before, with the same setup. Found no solution yet. I've had it showing up a few times but it disappeared after a reboot. Now it doesnt show anymore.
(WinXP Home sp2 & foobar 0.8.3)

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

No one knows anything about this problem? I barely got into Foobar, (I never liked it since it never made it easy to change tracks while I was working until I found out about FooRemote) and the plugin does not even work! It must be a conflict with the new security options that Windows has added in updates recently, because whenever I play a song with fooremote open, it crashes and tells me something about halting the data execution for my protection from viruses, etc!! Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Or, maybe there is an alternative to this plugin?

Well, I got my problem solved. It has trouble with MP3s that have embedded lyrics. So, I just reencoded the MP3s without lyrics, and it played fine. I don't know if this was the problem with other people, but this was the solution for me. Foobar is quite nice, aside from it having trouble with such MP3s using th remote.

Try to disable hardware-enforced DEP.
