Hi,

I would like know some info when recording speech in Linux.

Requirement:
1.) Auto-pause (when the speaker stop speaker for a while)
2.) Auto-recording level
3.) Real-time processing(compressor+noise removal+EQ+etc)
4.) Record direct to MP3

Is there any open source software that can do this??

Tried Googling around? just look at all the different linux recording programs you find and see if any of them look like it has all the things you want.
