Been doing some searching but haven't found anything yet; iTunes does something like this and I always liked this feature: pop in a CD and automatically create an Audio CD playlist (also be able to run the freedb plugin right after to retrieve all the track info). Eject the CD, and the playlist disappears. Is there anything like this available for fb2k? Cheers.
I guess this isn't possible? I've been fooling around with commandline and TweakUI and trying to put this functionality into Autoplay Handler, but it just can't figure it out
i.e. :
foobar2000 "/command:Playlist/Create new playlist" creates the new playlist but I can't figure out a way to rename this playlist to "Audio CD" or something similar (don't know if this is even accessible from the command line...?)
I currently have all files automatically sent to a playlist with music that I just got and am just checking out before I add it to my music collection, so Sending the audio cd to foobar won't work out because it will just add an audio cd to a playlist full of mp3s, which means I have to delete those tracks when I'm through with the audio cd. Unless there is a way to have incoming files added to one playlist, "Temp" for example, and have the drive sent to its own playlist "Audio CD".

XP only:
1) Use fooassoc.exe and enable Audio CDs.
2) Go to the drive in My Computer that you want to apply certain Autoplay functionality to, set it to foobar2000 by default.
3) In foobar, Preferences > Components > freedb masstagger > auto CD tagging > 3 checkboxes there that are relevant.
Yep I have that autotagging nailed, the only thing I need now is the creation of a new playlist for the Audio CD (although I think making it disappear when the CD is ejected may require a plugin...)
