I've ripped some Music CD's into a flac image and have chosen the option to embed the tag using tag.exe.
When I play the flac image using WinAmp, I was expecting to see the song title displayed, but this does not happen.
Does this only work if I rip into individual flac files?

The answer is, as so often, very simple: foobar2000.
Or, as you said yourself, rip into separate tracks.

I assume that once I convert from FLAC to AAC, that the songs will have the correct titles with them, right?
If you embed the cue into the image and convert with foobar2000 then yes (with mp3, never tried aac but i assume so)
