I was wondering has anyone published a list of the approzimate bitrates for the different -q settings?

if not, what -q setting would give me ~128kbps? (i wanna ABX some music against 128kbps iTunes AAC)

thanks..but i'm still experiencing some weird bitrate fluxuations

files that encode at ~135-140kbps with LAME, oggenc and mppenc (-V 5, -q4, --radio) end up at ~120kbps with faac -q 100

while on the other hand files that lame, oggenc, and mppenc (same as above) at ~100kbps come out ~140kbps with faac -q 100

The way FAAC is allocating bits it worrying me...the music sounds fine...but the bitrate is getting bloated on files that don't need as many bits
