It may still be legal in Russia, however, I'm still pretty sure that it is illegal for me to use the service in the U.S. I've been to their web site and do think that it is a very interesting and tempting service to use. They do things that Napster and iTunes could learn from, however, 2 cents per MB does not produce a lot of revenue per album. So Allofmp3 really isn't giving back to the artists or record labels for compensation. I could care less about the record labels personally but I do care about the artists getting compensated for their work. I'll continue to buy physical audio CDs.
