Ok I feel like an idiot but I simply can't figure this out and I've searched the forum about as much as I can stand:

The Panel menu does not show up in my Columns_UI.

I've got columns_ui version 0.1.2 installed along with the newest versions of foo_uie_albumart, foo_uie_albumlist and foo_uie_trackinfo. I'm using Foobar 0.8.3.

The UI Extension Scanner finds all of the above extensions and says the yare for 0.8. The extensions are all stored in the components directory.

When I right click in the sidebar the only two submenus I see are General and Toolbars (and the various panel controls).

Sounds like you don't have the latest version of ColumnsUI. Try downloading the updated version from the columns ui thread. (clear out your browser cache if you keep having problems)

I have version 0.1.2 which is the version linked in the sticky at the begining of the Columns_UI post.

The fo_ui_columns.dll is 209,408 Bytes and last modified on 28/12/2004

Is there a new version?

I just installed foobar a few days ago so I'm reasonably sure I should have the newest versions of most things.

Any help would be great.

Well I think I've fixed my own problem. Reinstalled Foo from scratch and now (magically) I have a checkbox on the Other tab of Column_UI preferences that says "List all toolbars" which I'd read about in the forums but assumed had been deprecated. Not so apparently... and when its checked, I get my Panel menu.
