I'm looking for an Aotuv beta2 compile for Linux (specifically one that will run on Gentoo). There appears to be something like in Debian Rarewares but no clickable link to download it.

Just enable the USE flag "aotuv" and re-emerge vorbistools and libvorbis?
IIRC that is Aotuv Beta3

They are similar but not quite the same. Aoyumi was concerned that the move to 1.1.0 could have broke some of the beta2 tunings.

Thanks for the help in this thread. I prefer beta2 over beta3 as I found pre-echo to be worse at high bit rates with beta3. My tests were limited, but enough to spark off the paranoia that stopped me from "upgrading".
