This has been bugging me on and off for years.
I heard a song being played on a radio station in Toronto, Canada either in 1988-1989 or 1992. I think it was 1988 time period though.

Here is one line from the song (Not much to go on, I know):
..."Lola,.... You're takin' my freedom away..."

Anyway, the singer sounds like Phil Collins on speed (drugs). It was sort of a pop dance tune and was really catchy. I don't know if it made the charts, but I haven't heard it since that time and would like to find out the name of the song, so I can get it.

I think I remember the disc jockey saying the name of the band ... it was something like Tico or something, but not sure.
