Any help would be appreciated!....

If I convert mp3 to wma, foobar will start to play them but after 2 or 3 seconds foobar crashes and disappears. I have the wma input plugin from the "special installer" installed. These files will all play fine in winamp or qcd or wmp.

The frustrating thing is that dbPoweramp converter wma files will play but files converted by nero or any other program will crash.

Any ideas? Thank You!

Convert to WMA?
You may try the official WMA converter - Plus! MP3 Audio Converter LE

The converter function of foobar is good, but this one is better if you want to convert your MP3/WAV to WMA. It's easy to use and powerful in function.

And you can get the software here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/win...S/WMBonusXP.exe

You can full install it or unpack "WMBonusXP.exe" and find the "AudioConverterLE.exe"(only one file will be enough happy.gif)

Hope this helps.

Thank you both for the responses. In investigating this further I found that the winamp dsp bridge plugin with dfx was the culprit. All else works fine. For whatever reason, the plugin won't play wma files through dfx (in foobar). Again, thank you! smile.gif
