I've searched the forums and found many near-solutions to this, but nothing that quite seems to work.
I've used EAC to rip to multiple FLAC + Cuesheet, and then I use dbPowerAmp Music Converter to convert via iTunes to AAC for my iPod. Inevitably, I have spotted numerous tag problems in iTunes and have corrected them. Now I want to copy those corrections back to the FLAC files.
The filenames are not the same between the two versions - partly because iTunes renames the files and partly because the FLACS have underscores instead of spaces. Each FLAC disc is in its own folder, so it should be easy to match up disc by disc visually. It is important I do not rename the FLAC files as then they won't match the cuesheet files.
What tool can I use to say "take all the tags of the AAC files selected and put them into the FLAC files I specify". Ideally I want it to just go in filename order (track number is first in both cases) or to tie up the files by the track number tag.
I've tried Tagger and TGF and neither seem to do this. I also tried TGF's export function but couldn't get it to work and this would be cumbersome anyway.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Allister.
