Hello again. smile.gif
I've just set up EAC and Lame to re-rip my CD's. Going to use the --aps this time! smile.gif
Now I was wondering if I'm allowed to post a sample mp3, to hear some opinions on the quality. I'm a little unsure if I set it up right, or if I'm doing something wrong. Just want some kind of confirmination that it sounds alright. smile.gif
It sounds just fine to me, but I'm always curious what other's think.

Btw, does anyone have tips on which music is good for testing purposes?

EAC secure mode + --aps will surely give you excellent quality.
Trust your ears. They are more valuable than other people's opinions. ;-)

The type of music you like.
It's worthless testing with Fatboy Slim (a favorite test case) if you are only interested in classical. smile.gif

Roberto.

Obs: Answering your question: Only post a music if you're sure it's copyright-free. If it isn't, you should post a sample (no more than 30 seconds, I think).

Well I have no copyright free music and I don't feel much like cutting them.
But to me they sound just fine. smile.gif

About the type of music for testing... I'm not sure, but I thought classical music would be pretty good for testing. Or acoustic songs.
But I have neither of them. mad.gif

Oh well, so far it sounds good to me.
