Hi there,

I'm ripping and encoding all of my songs with EAC and Lame to --APS.

I then run it through MP3gain with Album Gain mode.

During the initial analysis MP3gain tells me that my songs have quite a high volume (eg 98) and that they clip. Is this bad? Almost every song I own says that it clips before I use MP3gain to make it down to 89db.

When I listen to these songs with no MP3gain applied I can't hear any clipping.
