I must say, first and foremost, those who have come out of the woodwork to help extend the life of musepack, I have great respect for you. Also, thank you Frank for providing much needed input. Now, on to my question.
I see that there is improvements added to Streamversion 7 very frequently, but is that the only goal? Are you guys planning on working on a Streamversion 8, or is that all up to Frank? If Frank isn't going to do it, do you feel have have a good enough grasp of the source code, and the skills to match, to code this new version?
I suppose this is a more direct set of questions for the future of the format.
Also, where is there a development/progress checklist?

A part of the team will surely start to dig in SV8's source and work on it while others work on SV7. I'd personally prefer to have 1.16 ready first, and even this is several months away, if not more.
