When I encode using Speek's FLAC Frontend, I get no...

I am not sure as to what I am doing wrong, either in EAC or FLAC Frontend. I got one rip to work last night, the first time. I was sleepy eyed however by the time I got around to encoding so I don't remember "exactly" what I did.

Maybe someone here can help me out please?

No one has any ideas eh?

How are you ripping? EAC -> WAV -> FLAC Frontend? If so, you may skip the intermediate WAV step and set up EAC to rip directly to FLAC with tags. There are several guides that tell you exactly how to do it, including tagging.

I was ripping EAC->WAV->FLAC Frontend. I will try setting it so that it will rip to FLAC if you think that may eliminate the problem. And don't worry, I have "searched the forums" and have done a "quick google." Just to head those off.

Try this for setting up to encode directly to flac:

encoding directly to flac from eac will give you an incorrect album gain setting, because it encodes them one at a time, rather than a batch encode after ripping all tracks

if you are concerned about gain use replaygain AFTER you convert your files no flac.
