I have searched in vain for a plugin who let's me chose one album in the playlist and repeat that album, or randomize within that album.
I know that I can create new playlist easily but still. I'm lazy and would prefer a easier way. Like a "Album Repeat" and "Album Randomize" in the Playback order menu.

Can anyone give/find/make me such a plugin?
Or is it an impossible task?

foo_shuffle can do something a little bit similar to what you want to do. it gives you two new playback modes, "shuffle album" and "shuffle album 2". "shuffle album" plays all songs from one album in random order and only goes on to a different album afterwards. "shuffle album 2" plays a whole album in order and then picks a random new album.

you could use these, pick an album to play, and when it's through with the album click on the first song of the album again to hear it once more. sure, it's not exactly "album repeat", but at least it keeps albums together.

alternative option: just copy your album to a new playlist and keep playing it there on playlist repeat.

no other solution?
noone who can change the foo_shuffle to foo_albumrepeat or something?

Your lazy? why would someone code a whole new plugin that has the same functionality as a playlist on repeat. I think you'll have a hard time convincing someone to make such a plugin when there is such an easy alternative.

I can think of 2 options:
1. Place the album in its own playlist (maybe helpful to have the albumlist plugin) and set the playback on repeat.

2. Get foo_temple and in your playlist enqueue your whole album, so you can hear it twice. Note that this method is not gapless

Hope this helps.

If it does exactly the same thing, why do you need another one ? huh.gif

"randomize within that album" is totally possible, surely? just select the album from first to last track in the playlist and right-click>sort>randomize, or playlist>selection>sort>randomize.

i'd like a "stop at the end of this selection" option personally, so i don't have to keep creating new playlists or waiting till i'm on the last track to choose "stop after current". like this suggestion, i now see, but for any selection.
