Okay. I need some help here, so I figured I'd ask you good people to see if anyone knows.

I need to poll foobar at short intervals to get it's status. (basially just playing, paused, stopped.... more would be nice, but that's all i really need). Can this be done via command line? Is there a plug-in that can accomplish this?
