I sometimes prefer ogg, but my ipod does not support it. I was wondering if there is a quick way to convert ogg's to mp3's? preferably one that will do a bunch at once, like about 100 total. And it'd be sweet if it could keep all the tags too
if there is no such tool, i will just have to do it manually.

The re-encoding thread of the day... Same answers as usual: multi_frontend, foobar2000, dBPowerAmp, Frontah, Universal frontend, etc...

haha, just to let you know, i did search the forums... but i didnt see anything specific about re-encoding. maybe i didnt look closely enough.
I have dbpowerAMP, but i don't like it very much. How does foobar2000 convert them? do i need a specific component?

No. lame.exe is nevertheless needed (cf. www.rarewares.org).
