Hi everybody!

Is someone can answer this question.

Where does the AudioSpecificConfig stand? (AOS is the way to identify precisely the audio stream if i am well understanding... is SBR is present etc..)

Is it in the Mp4 headers (mp4a box -> esds box -> AudioSpecificConfig)??
Or does it stand at the bzgining of each audio frame?

If some MP4 guru can help me to fix my ideas on this point it would be great!!

Greetings from grenoble,
Antoine

Euh, could you precise in which MP4 header (i.e each Box), and where in the box.

Anyway, thanks for the answer,

Antoine

You are right: in MP4 files, the esds box contains the ES_Descriptor, which contains the DecoderCOnfig descriptor, which contains the ASC.

But it's not always possible, to tell, whether SBR is contained in the stream by just parsing the ASC.
