any comments on the quality, equalization and on how much can i trust those?

the HD265 is said to sound a bit muffled.
To my hearing, the bass range is a bit exaggerated, so any bass boost should be turned off. To me this is not a problem because I don't like any equalization
Upper bass, mid and high range sound just like my old, beloved KEF 101 or TDL MC. Not muffled, not too sharp.
If you like older british speakers, I think you will also like the HD265.

yeah, in fb2k eq i had to turn down 77Hz for about 5 dB and i think they sound reasonably flat, well compared to sony mdr-v600 or pioneer se-m280 i think they 'rock' so far.
