Hi,

I'm trying to get Foobar to work with my Andromeda Jukebox. The site requires you to enter a user that has NTFS permission to the shared folders. This works fine in Windows Media Player since it prompts you for the info. The thing is that WMP just aint working for me. I need foobar2000 but can't get it to work.

Is it possible to do this in Foobar? When I open a link to a file on my jukebox it just sais index.php in the playlist.

Using IIS (PWS) & PHP5

Oh, and I did try the search function before posting this.

It is working for me.

But I'm using Apache WWW server on windows.
Working really good.

Only problem is special caracters in filename ruins everything so I need to rename files that contains. "don't" to "dont" or other languages own characters.
Like Norwegian. Swedish, irish and so on.
Rest is working fine.

Do you have to enter user & password or are those included in the URL (http://user:pass@host:port)? Reason I went with IIS was that I didnt know how to set up the permissions on Apache.

Edit: I just get:

INFO (CORE) : opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : location: "http://ipadress/fullpath/file.mp3" (0)
ERROR (CORE) : error opening file for playback :
INFO (CORE) : opening file for playback :

or:

INFO (CORE) : location: "http://username:password@ipadress/fullpath/file.mp3" (0)

Hi

No I don't need username:password.

It could be issue with default permissions for the IIS server.
Because I think the default permissions is hardened so you have to allow
traffic from outside.

See Right click on your webpage in IIS admin, choose. properties
Check settings under Home directory and Directory Security.
I think a setting is wrong here....

Good Luck.
