just got some .flac samples but i can't listen to them cos i don't have a player that supports .flac, does anyone know of anything i can download off the net which is able to play these files?

You can download a winamp plugin, or foobar2000. Foobar can be found at www.foobar2000.org. To play flac you need to download the special installer. You can also download flac-related stuff at the flac website, flac.sourceforge.net

An easy to use player is http://www.vuplayer.com.

There are also many others like foobar2000 and Winamp (with plug-in).

THere are loads of them.. At this point most of those that DON'T play flac have some other disqualification that keeps me from using them regularly.

But anyways, two players that you can simply download from my linking here and that don't demand additional download and install of plugin are foobar2000 and vuplayer.

Another nice player are XMPlay, but that will need a plugin.
