all of a sudden, the file name of the mp3 is showing up in the title menu. and nothing in artist, or album, everything seems to be bunched together in the title menu. and it also seems to be effecting the albumart also, for when i go to select another song, the picture from the last cd stays, it doesn't change.
didn't happen since i used mp3gain. maybe thats the problem??

When i open up WMP they all look fine and has it has no problem with seperating the title author name, etc.
is it a code error with foobar.
I deleted MP3Gain, so do i have to go back and redo all the tags myself?

I think you have to.
Before retagging, you should select which tags you want to write (at Playback -> Input -> Standard Inputs).
For writing replaygain it's also available to use foo_rgscan.dll.

I Don't know if using MP3gain could of caused this, but foobar will not show .WMA files in the playlist or anything.
Settings screwed up?

Read the MP3Gain FAQ at the MP3Gain website for an easy way out.
edit: Different situation, but same solution. Alternatively, you can try merging all the tags. You could search the forum for that.
