Garf
We've added a BitTorrent tracker to the site, as a free service to people developing audio and/or video related software. The tracker is located at

http://torrent.hydrogenaudio.org:6969/

If you are a developer and would like to use it to distribute your software, message me for a login to the upload section (or just link me up to the torrent file itself).

The color combination used on the site makes it look unrelated to Hydrogenaudio.

you also might want to change the categories available like comics, anime, & games.

Garf, any chance of getting Nero to use Torrents for new updates? The current FTP/HTTP distribution model is flawed as the servers get really slow when new releases come out.

It had one for years tongue.gif
http://www.rarewares.org/tracker/

But I only used it to distribute listening test samples. Distributing the normal RW downloads wouldn't work as the vast majority of visitors would prefer http downloads over torrent downloads given the choice, and offering only torrent downloads wouldn't be very friendly...

Sometimes Rarewares gets really slow on my end, to the point where downloads just time out. Not often though.
It's possible it could be my ISP or some routing problem, but other sites don't seem as slow when Rarewares does, from what I remember.
