I just bought a 50 pack of Fuji's made in Japan and, although, as far as the facts go, they should be Ty's, I want to make sure.

yes. the normally clear inner (or spindle) ring is "frosted" on TY.

Yep, they are frosted and I downloaded Nero Info Tool on my PC and checked them: TY's. I'm quite happy. But, it seems that Best Buy is the only chain store that carries Fuji's (other than Comp Usa). So, folks, don't waste your time going to Office Max, Circuit City or the rest (like I did).

Not that I've been in one for several years, but K-Mart used to carry 50-packs of the FujiFilm-branded TY CD-R's, as recently as 2002. If you don't mind being seen in the famously-dumpy chain where every year is 1981, give it a try. laugh.gif
